01Which Macs does Sageio Type support?
macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon (M1 or newer). The on-device model that powers the live draft and offline fallback needs Apple Silicon.02Is my voice recorded or stored?
No. Audio is processed in memory and never stored. Server logs contain only metadata such as duration and word counts — never your words or your voice. Your dictation history is stored only on your Mac, and you can clear it anytime. Nothing you say is used to train AI models.03Which languages does it understand?
Sageio Type is built first for Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese — including sentences that mix languages. It detects the language automatically, or you can lock it. Translate mode speaks one language and types another.04How is this different from built-in dictation?
Built-in dictation types your words as you say them — word for word. Sageio Type waits until you release the key, then writes what you meant: fillers removed, self-corrections folded, punctuation fixed, tone matched to the app you're in, and your personal dictionary enforced. If you ever want the word-for-word version, verbatim mode is one toggle away — unlimited, even on Free.05Does it work offline?
