Real-time translation for sales calls

To run a sales call across a language barrier, add Sageio to the meeting — it works on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom. The prospect reads live captions in their language while you read yours, generated from the same conversation in about two seconds, so discovery keeps a natural pace with no interpreter relay. Afterward you both get a translated transcript to build the follow-up from.

Live captions — a cross-language sales call

Out of the three workflows you showed me, which one is actually blocking your team today?

Honestly, it is the approval step: every order waits two days for a signature nobody reads.

That is exactly the case I want to show you next — can we bring your operations lead into the follow-up?

Why cross-language sales calls stall

Prospects hold back in a second language
Raising a precise objection is hard work in a language you are weaker in, so prospects soften concerns or stay quiet — and an objection you never hear is one you cannot answer. When the prospect can speak their own language and read your answers in it, the real blockers surface during the call instead of after you have lost the deal.
Interpreter relay breaks the rhythm of discovery
A relayed conversation runs at half speed: ask, wait, listen, wait. Follow-up questions die in the pauses, and the call becomes a presentation instead of a conversation. Live captions in about two seconds keep the exchange moving at talking speed, in both directions.
The follow-up gets written from one side’s notes
If your notes are in English and the prospect’s are in their language, the recap email is a negotiation about what was said. A translated transcript and summary, delivered within about five minutes of the call, give both sides the same record — each readable in their own language.

How to run a translated sales call with Sageio

  1. 1Add Sageio to the meeting invite — it works on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and there is nothing for the prospect to install.
  2. 2Each side picks their own caption language: the prospect reads in theirs, you read in yours — from the same conversation, live.
  3. 3Run the call normally. Captions appear in about two seconds, so questions and objections keep their natural back-and-forth.
  4. 4Afterward, a searchable translated transcript and an AI summary arrive within about five minutes — the shared record your follow-up is built on.

As of July 2026, Sageio delivers per-person live captions in 20+ languages on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom, at about two seconds of delay.

Questions

Does the prospect need to install anything?
No. Sageio joins the meeting as a participant; the prospect just picks which language they want to read. That matters in sales, where you cannot ask a prospect to set up software before they have bought anything.
Which meeting platforms does it work on?
Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom — whichever platform the prospect prefers, which in cross-border sales is usually theirs, not yours.
Is the call content used to train AI?
No. Meeting audio is processed in memory and never used to train AI models — a contractual term, not a marketing line — and Sageio’s AI vendors are barred from training on it too. Only the encrypted text transcript and summary are kept, in the region you choose (US, EU, or APAC).
What does it cost to try on a real sales call?
Every plan starts with a free 60-minute trial, no credit card required. After that, Professional is $49/month and Teams is $99 per seat/month (each seat covers up to 5 people).
