WHY THIS MATTERS

Most cross-cultural meetings still fail quietly.

Half the team understands. The other half nods along and rereads the transcript later — if there is one, and if it's in their language. Decisions get made in a room half the people couldn't follow. Action items get lost in translation, literally.

We've watched this play out in Singapore HQs with teams in Tokyo, Taipei, and Hanoi. In Taiwanese manufacturers selling into Europe. In Japanese firms running APAC operations. The work is hard, the meetings are harder, and the tools haven't kept up.

Sageio is the bet that real-time translation, done well, changes how cross-language teams operate. Not faster meetings — better ones, where everyone in the room is actually in the room.

Full-Stack Engineer

Engineering · Remote (Taiwan only) · Full-time

NT$60,000/month base + US$24,000–36,000 annual performance bonus.

Build the Sageio product end-to-end — Next.js front end, Node.js services, PostgreSQL, integration with Deepgram, Gemini, and our in-house translation models. You'll ship to production in your first week and own features from spec to retrospective. We're looking for 3+ years of full-stack experience and someone comfortable working independently across a remote team.

Sales (Local Markets)

Go-to-Market · Remote (global, with regional focus) · Full-time

Base NT$50,000–80,000/month. On-target earnings NT$800K–1.5M annually. Commission uncapped.

Own a regional market end-to-end — qualifying inbound, running discovery, demoing the product, and closing deals with operations leaders at multinational companies. You'll work with prospects in their native language and time zone; English fluency is not required, but B2B software sales experience is.

Field Application Engineer

Customer Engineering · Remote (limited travel) · Full-time

NT$45,000–60,000/month, depending on experience.

Get Sageio deployed and running in customer environments — primarily self-hosted enterprise installations in Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or on-premise. You'll work alongside sales during pre-sales technical discussions and lead post-sales installation, configuration, and ongoing technical relationship. Most work is remote; occasional travel for major customer kickoffs. We're looking for cloud deployment experience and a customer-facing temperament.

Digital Marketing (Junior)

Marketing · Remote · Full-time

Join Sageio's marketing function from the ground up — supporting SEO, content production, paid acquisition, social, and email campaigns. You'll work directly with our senior marketer and ship campaigns end-to-end from day one. We're looking for someone with 0–2 years of marketing experience who can show one or two concrete pieces of work and the metrics they moved.

Digital Marketing (Senior)

Own Sageio's digital marketing strategy and execution — SEO, content, paid acquisition, social, email, and lifecycle. You'll set the function's direction, brief external creative production, and mentor our junior marketer as the team grows. We're looking for 5+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience and a portfolio of campaigns that moved meaningful metrics.

HIRING PROCESS

What our hiring process looks like.

Four conversations over two to three weeks. We respect your time — no surprise rounds, no take-homes that take a week. You'll know what's next at every stage.

  1. Application review (within 5 days)

    We read every application sent to jobs@sageio.net. You'll hear back either way within five business days. If we're moving forward, we'll send a short note explaining what the next call covers.

  2. Intro call (30 minutes)

    A conversation with the hiring manager. We cover what you've worked on, what you're looking for, and answer your questions about Sageio. No surprise technical questions.

  3. Practical assessment (1–2 hours)

    Role-dependent. For engineering: a paired coding session on a problem from our actual codebase. For sales / FAE: a customer scenario discussion. For marketing: a teardown of an existing campaign or asset. Compensated for senior candidates.

  4. Team conversations (2–3 calls)

    You meet two or three people you'd work with directly. These are conversations, not interrogations — they're as much for you to evaluate us.

  5. Offer & references

    If we're aligned, we send a written offer within two business days. Reference checks happen after offer, with your permission and timing.
